Pyramids made to be connected?

I had random thoughts today, I was thinking how accurate the Mayan calendar could be, how the calendar started and what are the Mayan ways to measure things such as in astronomy and weather. I have read many articles about Mayan Civilization and I know some of them are hoax and some of them are not, but what real got me to thinking is how to determine the real information.

I now know that the Mayans has it's own pyramid the Pyramid of Kulkan at Chichen Itza so i search google maps for its location and fount out that it is located in Mexico and Mexico lies near the equator. Suddenly, I thought what about I find the pyramid of Egypt's location as well. Then I notice that both pyramids are almost aligned with each other. Next I tried to calculate their distance using my thumb pointing to Mexico and index finger on Egypt then I horizontally scrolled the world map so that my thumb would now point to Egypt and see where my index finger would point. Now my index finger is pointing in a place below Japan, out of curiosity I again scrolled the map so that my thumb would point below Japan and that I will see where my index finger would point next. To my surprise my index finger pointed back to Mexico, again I search the internet to find if there is any pyramid in Asia. Dear readers I found an article about the underwater pyramid near Japan, I read the the whole article, then afterwards I read the comments for that article. I saw one specific comment that interest me and it says "The lost continent of Mu is nothing new. Keep an open mind."

It gets better and better every time, now I was more curious than ever, I then search Mu. Mu is the name of a hypothetical continent that allegedly existed in one of Earth's oceans, but disappeared at the dawn of human history .The concept and the name were proposed by 19th century traveler and writer Augustus Le Plongeon, who claimed that several ancient civilizations, such as those of Egypt and Mesoamerica, were created by refugees from Mu — which he located in the Atlantic Ocean. This concept was popularized and expanded by James Churchward, who asserted that Mu was once located in the Pacific.-wikipedia.

So if my calculations are correct there are supposed to be three pyramids lying near the equator with almost same distance relative to each other. Could this mean something? You all guys should know that Egyptians and Mayans have almost same way of architecture designs and beliefs, and both are believe to be descendants of Atlantis. So if I incorporate Mu with Atlantis this puzzle things up.
